A well-established and nationally recognized water hygiene management company is seeking a Water Hygiene Specialist to cover commercial and industrial sites across the Central Belt of Scotland.

This role would suit someone looking to join a longstanding and friendly team of engineers, in a company that offers tailored training plans for employees.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including water sampling and temperature monitoring, fault-finding, and ensuring any issues are fixed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Fault-finding and ensuring issues are fixed in a timely manner
  • TMV servicing, repairing, and replacing
  • Failsafe testing
  • Deadleg removals
  • CWST cleans and disinfections
  • Showerhead cleans and descales
  • Flushing of little-used outlets
  • Removing, re-routing, and replacing of PVC and copper pipework

Requirements:

  • Holding the City and Guilds/NVQ L2 or higher in Plumbing is essential
  • Experience working as a Water Hygiene/Plumbing Engineer for an established Water Hygiene/Legionella management company would be beneficial
  • Well-versed in HSG 274/ACoP L8 guidelines
  • Able to update onsite logbooks
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
