Senior Care Assistant

A rewarding role for a dedicated individual to join our care team as a Senior Care Assistant, providing exceptional care to residents while leading a team with empathy and professionalism.

About the Role:

  • Promoting independence and dignity for residents in daily activities
  • Leading shifts and ensuring smooth handovers
  • Overseeing medication rounds and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Supporting team members and addressing training needs
  • Conducting regular one-on-one check-ins with staff
  • Investigating complaints and upholding best practices

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Registered Nurse)
  • Minimum two years experience in a care home setting
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding practices
  • Ability to commute within 30 minutes of Mansfield
