Maintenance Technician

">About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing timely and effective maintenance of all plant and equipment, ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures and fault rectification
  • Respond to callouts on a rota basis to ensure continuity of engineering support
  • Ensure auxiliary services plant, equipment and distribution systems are maintained in a proper and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' post qualification experience working as a technician in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
  • Ability to read mechanical and wiring drawings and diagrams
  • Knowledge and practical experience with PLC controlled applications
