About the Position

As a Children's Social Worker within our Pre-Birth Team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of expectant parents and their unborn children.

This role demands a professional with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, who can establish strong relationships with families and other stakeholders.

  • Deliver high-quality services to vulnerable families, prioritizing their needs and goals
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans, tailored to the individual requirements of each family
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other agencies to promote the health and well-being of children and families
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions, sharing expertise and best practices

Required Skills:

  • Diploma in Social Work (DipSW) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in child protection work, preferably within a pre-birth team
  • Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding principles, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals
