Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Administrative Support Specialist to join our Special Needs and Disability (SEND) Transport team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional administrative support to senior staff, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Proactively manage correspondence, tracking all actions and addressing them promptly.
- Arrange transport provisions using established systems and processes.
- Maintain contract performance records, addressing issues and escalating complaints as necessary.
- Coordinate meetings, providing administrative support and ensuring follow-up on action points.
- Offer clear information and guidance on policy and procedures within the service area.
- BUILD AND SUSTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH INTERNAL COLLEAGUES, SERVICE USERS, AND EXTERNAL CONTRACTORS.
- Experience: Proven experience in a customer-focused environment, with skills in financial monitoring and working across various disciplines.
- Skills and Knowledge: Excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong understanding of data management systems, and proficient ICT skills.
- Personal Attributes: Initiative, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to high levels of customer care.
- Qualifications: Qualified to Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Salary range: £25,500 - £28,500 per annum, depending on experience.
- 25 days of annual leave plus another 5 days once you reach 5 years of continuous service, plus bank holidays.
