Job Summary:

The Workshop Careers is seeking a skilled SMT Rework Operative to join their production department. As an SMT Rework Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking all forms of electronic assembly and related tasks, including experience of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) rework, daily operation of SMT, and ability to solder, wire and form components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all forms of electronic assembly and related tasks
  • Experience of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) rework
  • Daily operation of SMT
  • Ability to solder, wire and form components
  • Ability to follow written work instructions
  • Ability to maintain a high level of concentration
  • Ability to distinguish colours
  • Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder
  • Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times

What We Offer:

A 4-day week, working Monday to Thursday, with a 38-hour working week.
