Electrical Trades Assistant - Career Advancement Opportunity

phs Group is seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Trades Assistant to join our team. As an Electrical Trades Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical work, including system preparation, installation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete necessary academic and practical training as part of the apprenticeship program
  • Submit coursework in a timely and proficient manner
  • Acquire knowledge of operational best practices through training and shadowing experienced engineers
  • Develop communication skills for interacting with both internal and external customers professionally
  • Learn to retrieve and enter data from management systems accurately
  • Gain practical experience in electrical work, including system preparation, installation, and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and conduct inspection and testing
  • Complete timesheets and reports as required by management
  • Use a PDA for data retrieval and recording
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed expectations
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Self-motivated and resilient
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

  • Must have GCSE qualifications in Maths, English, and Science
  • Proficient IT skills
