Senior Corporate Strategist (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Strategist to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the next phase of our organization's strategy, aligning with our mission to ensure honesty and fairness in the UK's financial markets.
  • Provide expert advice on key consumer and market issues, leveraging your analytical and presentation skills to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead the annual Strategic and Financial Planning process, collaborating with colleagues to align priorities and deliver results.
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and senior stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Identify key market issues and provide strategic advice to inform business decisions, utilizing your logical decision-making skills and ability to work well under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate strategy development, with a track record of delivering high-profile projects in an agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to identify key market issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal departments and senior stakeholders.
  • Logical decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with adaptive leadership skills, able to collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
