We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Smartsearch Recruitment Ltd. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's credit operations, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including payments, credits, and debtors.
- Monitor and analyze customer creditworthiness, identifying potential risks and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement effective credit control strategies to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
- Communicate with customers to resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or credit.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless credit operations and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Credit Controller role, preferably in the construction and hire sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with credit control software.
