Job Title: Litigation Lawyer - Hybrid

Lennoxvale Specialist Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer to join their in-house legal team in Belfast. This is a Fixed Term Contract position running to April 2025.

About the Role:

The In-House Legal team is a core part of the Risk Function at the firm and clients include not only the firm's partners and lawyers, but the entire global firm. As the In-House Lawyer, you will work regularly with offices around the world on key strategic projects at an exciting time for the firm and contribute to the growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising on largescale and strategic projects, including relating to the expansion of the global firm (such as new offices, entities and business lines) and group restructurings and reorganisations.
  • Helping to lead the firm's response on regulatory changes impacting on the firm's structure and corporate secretariat, horizon scanning and issue spotting from day-to-day work.
  • Advising in relation to complex legal and regulatory queries raised by partners and other members of staff, including as regards policy matters.
Requirements:
  • A Qualified lawyer in Northern Ireland, England & Wales or the Republic of Ireland, with 2 YRS PQE + gained ideally in a corporate, commercial, tax or an in house background.
  • Understanding of risk management and compliance processes within a corporate environment.
  • Experience of working on international legal issues in a corporate/commercial setting.
  • A proven ability to work independently and proactively and take the lead in driving projects forward to completion.
  • Sound commercial judgement.
