About the Role
Nexgen Group is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of our properties.
Key Responsibilities
Dust and clean walls, skirting boards, handrails, and other surfaces using a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
Sweep and mop floors using brushes, dust control mops, and wet or dry mops.
Operate electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines, carpet cleaning equipment, and jet washing machines to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Empty waste bins and transport waste material to designated collection points.
Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use and replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in cleaning or a related field.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
