About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Life Support and First Aid Trainer to join our team at Haxby Group (Hull). As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to our clinical and non-clinical staff.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering Life Support Course (BLS & ILS) and First Aid training. You will be expected to design engaging and effective learning experiences, collect and analyze feedback from training sessions, and implement improvements based on feedback to enhance training effectiveness.

You must hold all the relevant and in-date qualifications to deliver Life Support courses such as the BLSi & ILSi. Additionally, you must be occupationally competent in the areas of delivery and hold a current Level 3 First Aid at Work Certificate issued by either HSE or an Awarding Organisation/Body.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct Life Support Courses (BLS & ILS) and First Aid training sessions for both clinical and non-clinical staff.
* Lead and manage the Life Support and First Aid courses, ensuring high-quality delivery.
* Plan and schedule training sessions efficiently.
* Evaluate participants' skills and knowledge to ensure competency against relevant bodies.
* Regularly update training materials to align with current standards and guidelines.
* Develop new courses related to Life Support & First Aid, and peripheral topics.
* Identify and generate leads for training opportunities.

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering Life Support Course (BLS & ILS) and First Aid training.
* Proven experience in training both clinical and non-clinical workforce.
* Strong knowledge of learning theories, pedagogical practices, and instructional design methods.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to design engaging and effective learning experiences.
