AWE Plc is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Aldermaston or Burghfield. As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative ways of working to support the transfer of production capabilities and introduction of new products into existing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the manufacturing process.">
  • Develop and implement new production capabilities, supporting the transfer of production capabilities and introduction of new products into existing capabilities.">
  • Collaborate with design teams, technical experts, and research centres to deliver innovative solutions.">
  • Develop and maintain process and manufacturing documentation to support safe systems of work.">

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline.">
  • Experience in a wide range of manufacturing inspection and analytical techniques.">
  • Proven track record in identifying, developing, and implementing innovative ways of working.">
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, capable of building good working relationships within the organisation.">
