About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team of housekeepers at Witney Community Hospital. As a key member of our cleaning and catering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and clients.

Main Responsibilities

As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas such as linen rooms and laundry areas. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our facilities meet or exceed national cleanliness standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic cleaning skills and knowledge of cleaning chemicals
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate sensitively with people who have mental health concerns
  • An understanding of the principles of delivering quality customer service
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
