Mondrian Alpha: Operations Role in London

A leading global hedge fund with a strong presence in the UK is seeking an experienced operations specialist to join its crypto trading desk in London.

This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including risk management, treasury functions, and profit-and-loss analysis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in trade support for hedge funds, prop firms, investment banks, or brokerages.

The successful hire will be responsible for managing multiple automation projects, improving efficiency, and developing new tools in collaboration with technology and quant teams. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or VBA are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operations tasks for the crypto trading desk, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing risks.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
  3. Collaborate with technology teams to design and develop new tools and applications that support business objectives.
  4. Contribute to risk management initiatives, identifying potential threats and implementing mitigation strategies.
  5. Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive growth.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A performance-based bonus structure that rewards outstanding achievements, potentially up to 50% of the base salary in year one.
