Systal Technology Solutions seeks a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing finance team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will manage the global purchase ledger, including vendor master maintenance & governance, and lead a team of two Accounts Payable Assistants. This is a key role within our organisation, requiring a high level of autonomy and ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and resolving AP ageing issues, including items on hold, and implementing effective review & reconciliation processes.
- Oversight of the supplier payment process, with a focus on driving automation efficiencies and process improvements.
- Providing accurate and timely Payables input to weekly cashflow forecasting & daily cashflow management in collaboration with Treasury.
- Maintaining strong Governance over sensitive fields like bank details and developing vendor master cleanse strategies.
- Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and business departments to address enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
We require an experienced professional with excellent stakeholder management & communication skills, who can use own initiative and suggest improvements, has broad understanding of the Accounts Payable function from Vendor Master to Payment, and experience of supplier payment process. Knowledge of SAP Concur or similar systems is desirable.
