Job Title: Female Support Worker - Part Time

At The Edmund Trust, we are seeking a caring and supportive individual to join our team as a part-time support worker. This role involves assisting a woman with learning disabilities in various activities and daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to provide personal care and support with household chores. You will also be responsible for accompanying her on outings and engaging in fun activities such as walking, trampolines, and swimming.

As a full-time driver's license is required, you must hold a valid UK license. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and waking nights, is essential. We offer competitive rates of pay, 22 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays, and opportunities for Personal and Professional Development.

About the Role:
  • Assist with household chores and personal care
  • Support mobility and physical needs, including hoisting
  • Encourage independence
  • Engage in fun, fulfilling activities

Requirements:
  • Full UK driver's license essential
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and waking nights
  • No experience required - full training provided

Salary: £25,028 per annum (FTE is 40 hours per week, pro rata for part time)
