At Showsec, we are committed to excellence in crowd management and are seeking a skilled Female SIA Door Supervisor to join our team in north London.

As a Female SIA Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and customers at Drumsheds, a unique and vibrant event space in Tottenham.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing pre and post event checks
  • Assisting with safe and effective ingress, egress and queue management
  • Effective management of conflict and complete safe, lawful ejections
  • Checking passes, accreditation, and ticket checks
  • Effective patrols of the site or venue
  • Effective response to incidents, emergencies, and preservation of crime scenes
  • Monitoring spectators for signs of distress, overcrowding and inappropriate behaviour and reporting these to the on-shift supervisor
  • Being vigilant, identifying potential hazards and suspicious behaviour and reporting to the on-shift supervisor
  • Assisting with evacuation and invacuation procedures in the event of an emergency
  • Enforcing venue policies and procedures
  • Understanding and effectively applying relevant law and legislation to the role
  • Ensuring fire exits and evacuation routes are always kept clear
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to by all stakeholders including but not limited to Showsec workers, labour providers, customers, and venue staff
  • Understanding and executing duties commensurate with licensable activities and venue licence requirements

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £15.29 per hour (comprising a pay rate of £13.64 and indicative holiday pay of £1.65) and a maximum hourly rate of £17.76 per hour (comprising a pay rate of £15.85 and indicative holiday pay of £1.91). Holiday pay is indicative because it is accrued at 12.07% for every hour worked in accordance with your average pay rate over the previous 52 worked weeks.
