Hotel Reservation Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily reservations checks from all platforms (Accor, Booking.com, Expedia, FITs, etc.) to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
  • Verify all back-ups, comments, and payments are accurate and up-to-date to prevent any service disruptions.
  • Monitor and reconcile daily OTA commissions to ensure timely payment and minimize any discrepancies.
  • Submit weekly commissions on Fastcom to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Update various trackers on a daily basis to track key performance indicators such as no-shows, cancellations, and other relevant metrics.
  • Handle reservations and booking enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of hotel bedrooms and events to effectively address client enquiries and promote our services.
  • Arrange and deliver professional hotel show arounds to showcase our facilities and amenities.
  • Support group bookings from initiation to completion, collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all client enquiries related to accommodation and meeting and events.
  • Provide meticulous administrative support to coordinate events, including corporate bookings, private functions, and weddings.
  • Arrange and conduct hotel show arounds to promote the sale of accommodation and/or meeting space.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for future business growth.
  • Develop and provide detailed function plans to hotel operations teams to ensure client requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the in-house reservations system to ensure seamless operations.
  • Respond promptly to all booking enquires received via telephone, email, venue directly, or via RFP to secure bookings.
