Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Orion Group. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial and residential projects in the Highlands and Islands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential environments.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults, ensuring optimal and safe operation.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, offering professional advice and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of all completed work, including service reports and compliance documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
  • F Gas Certification (essential).
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Fluent in English.
