Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Data Vision Services Ltd.

Role Overview

This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of client-facing projects, developing analyses, tools, and strategies to drive business growth. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development of hypotheses, defining tests to validate or disprove these, and undertaking exploratory analysis in Tableau to develop the burden of proof for hypotheses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of hypotheses for key business questions and define tests to validate or disprove these.
  • Undertake exploratory analysis in Tableau (or other preferred analytics tool) to develop the burden of proof for hypotheses.
  • Develop Machine Learning models in Python or R for applications such as customer segmentation, marketing strategy and optimisation, pricing strategy, etc.
  • Support deployment of data platforms, visualisation & Machine Learning models in the client's technical and business architecture.
  • Collaborate with client teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, which can include helping ensure access to data, setting up collaboration processes, etc.

In addition to client-facing work, you will also support internal IP development by helping develop methodologies and defining our service portfolio.

Core Skillset

As this role is entry-level, we are not looking for any particular experience set. However, exceptional business acumen and commercial awareness are essential, along with the ability to dissect business problems through analysis end-to-end. A general ability to work with numbers and data is also required.

Working Arrangement
  • We offer a hybrid working model, with approximately 3 office days/week and four weeks remote working allowance per annum.

The associate role offers a highly competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity for future equity in the business depending on progression.
