Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Orion Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in major construction, with a focus on cost planning and budget management through the RIBA lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost models and performance management approaches for major construction projects.
  • Evaluate and negotiate tenders to ensure value for money and compliance with project requirements.
  • Capture and utilize cost data for future procurements and reporting.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and mitigate risks during the procurement phase.

Requirements:

  • Complex major construction experience.
  • Knowledge of public contract regulations and experience working within Defence, Nuclear, Utilities, or related infrastructure environments.
  • Chartered or working towards MRICS or other related qualification.
  • Strong cost planning and budget management skills.
  • Ability to design and implement contractor performance management approaches.
