About the Role

The Service Engineer will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS/Cantel product lines and field troubleshooting. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts, rewiring or reassembling as required, and troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties as assigned, including computer synchronization, completing service reports, and maintaining tools and parts inventory.
  • Use corporate applications to handle daily activity.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, managers, support functions, and the sales organization.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor when working with customers, contractors, management, and fellow employees.
  • Provide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS/Cantel products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years industry-related experience and a general knowledge of operating washing and sterilize processing units.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and a proven organization attitude.
  • Computer literacy with a good standard of education and good oral and written communication.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge of the English language.
  • Completion of a recognized mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical training scheme.
