Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team within the NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility. Located at Hammersmith Hospital in west London, this facility provides a dedicated environment for medical staff and scientists to work together to investigate disease and trial the latest scientific ideas for improving diagnosis and treatment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in oncology and haematology nursing, with experience of working within an oncology or haematology ward environment as a qualified nurse. They will be responsible for providing best care to volunteers and patients participating in clinical research studies in the Imperial Clinical Research Facility (ICRF) with a focus on oncology and haematology trials.

This role offers a competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,414 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including career development opportunities, flexible working, and a staff recognition scheme.

Main Duties:

  • Provide best care to volunteers and patients participating in clinical research studies in the ICRF with a focus on oncology and haematology trials.
  • Carry out procedures and investigations on research participants according to study protocol, Trust and local policies.
  • Remain up to date with Trust and local policies and help support the unit's quality accounts by continuous auditing and developing standards.
