Human Resources Assistant

Major Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Admin Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily HR functions, including maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment processes, and administering payroll and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR administration and general queries covering all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Filing and data inputting.
- Prepare and process HR documentation such as references, offer letters, employment contracts, and termination paperwork.
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and schedule meetings on behalf of the HR team.
- Manage the HR department's general email inbox and respond to routine inquiries.
- Maintenance of employee records to ensure data is kept up to date and accurate.
- Administer leave requests and ensure that they comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure all HR queries are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Help to promote a positive workplace environment by supporting HR initiatives and company culture.
- Provide support to the wider HR team when required.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
