About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Composites Development Engineer to join our team at L3Harris Technologies UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for driving supplier development and ensuring the quality of our composites products.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have significant experience in procurement within an engineering/manufacturing biased industry, with a strong understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and resolve supplier concerns.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Significant previous experience of procurement within an engineering/manufacturing biased industry.
  2. Unrestricted travel on an occasional basis.
  3. Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
  4. Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings.
