Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Payroll Manager in managing client payroll portfolios.
  • Completing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, and monthly payrolls for clients using Sage Payroll.
  • Processing BACS payments using third-party payment mandates.
  • Uploading pension data to relevant pension providers accurately.
  • Preparing and completing year-end submissions.
  • Addressing and resolving client payroll queries promptly.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll within an accountancy practice.
  • Proficient in Sage Payroll software.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
