Job Description:

The Benefits Team Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of benefits services to our residents. This includes leading a team of professionals in assessing benefit entitlement, developing and implementing strategies to meet performance standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of professionals in assessing benefit entitlement and making informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet performance standards and quality assurance goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Possess 2 years' experience in Housing and Council Tax Support, including assessing all types of claims and making accurate decisions.
  • Hold a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and people management skills.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £47,532 - £50,574 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
