We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at Megger. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing faults, and repairing electronic equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

The role will involve participating in improvement initiatives and other supportive tasks. You will work under the guidance and leadership of our highly skilled Technicians, who will teach you an array of skills to enable progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault find, repair, calibrate, and test electronic field and bench-type equipment.
  • Fault find and repair at printed circuit board level, including replacing surface mount components.
  • Contribute to improvement activities as part of the development of a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Represent the Manufacturing department in New Product Development Project Teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Electronic discipline or equivalent; relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understand manuals, schematics, and circuit diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
