Eames Consulting seeks an experienced Information Security Strategist to develop and execute the security architecture strategy and roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on network security, firewalls, and secure communication protocols.

About the Role:

\
  • Develop and implement security architectures that align with business goals, including creating and maintaining strategic security roadmaps.\
  • Provide guidance on expected security outcomes, balancing customer needs with technical considerations, and setting key security performance indicators (KPIs).\
  • Evaluate and guide the technical development of security-related projects, identifying dependencies and integration points with existing systems.\
  • Contribute to the overall business architecture roadmap, ensuring security initiatives are aligned with broader business goals.\
  • Oversee and advance the company's security capabilities to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.\
  • Drive technical excellence by addressing security-related technical debt and maintaining a continuous improvement backlog.\
  • Ensure security solutions meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards through the implementation of security by design principles.\
  • Lead the development of innovative, reusable security architectures that address complex cybersecurity challenges and capture best practices.\
  • Advise on the composition and staffing requirements for effective threat detection and incident response.\
  • Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, providing advice on complex security architecture issues to teams and senior management.\
  • Advocate for security solutions that enhance customer trust and protect sensitive data.\
  • Contribute to funding initiatives for advancing security architecture priorities.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in security frameworks (such as NIST, ISO 27001) and industry-specific standards.\
  • Skilled in conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) to safeguard sensitive data.\
  • Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex security concepts to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.\
  • Proven ability to design and implement security architectures that align with business goals.\
  • Experienced in Agile, Scrum methodologies to ensure quick adaptation to evolving security challenges and business requirements.\
  • Demonstrates innovative thinking to solve complex security challenges with a focus on delivering results.\
  • Committed to staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies and adaptable in adjusting strategies as necessary.\
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly valued.
