Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation

Location: Leeds

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation, your responsibilities will include:

Installing, servicing, and maintaining company products on customer sites across the UK and internationally

Working as part of a busy engineering team to provide technical advice and support to colleagues and customers

Assembling hardware for Instrumentel systems and performing tests to validate quality and performance levels

Managing inventory accuracy and store room discipline

Providing customers with support and information on products and working closely with the sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities

Representing Instrumentel and Unipart Technologies Group in a professional manner at all times

Working in a safe manner and reporting any accidents, hazards, or dangerous/unsafe behaviour to your line manager immediately

  • Assemble hardware for Instrumentel systems
  • Perform tests on Instrumentel systems to validate quality and performance levels
  • Manage inventory accuracy and store room discipline
  • Install, service, and maintain company products on varying sites
  • Support team projects as and when required
  • Provide customers with support and information on products
  • Provide support to the sales team and be aware of cross-selling opportunities
  • Represent Instrumentel and Unipart Technologies Group in a professional manner at all times
  • Work in a safe manner, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work, following appropriate Health and Safety guidance, training, and company rules and procedures as appropriate
  • Report any accidents, hazards or dangerous/unsafe behaviour to your line manager immediately
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

GCSE A-C grades (or equivalent) in Maths and English and hold a HND (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

A degree in a relevant Engineering subject would also be an advantage. Candidates must also hold a full UK driving license as travel is essential in the role.
