Salary: £11.44 Per Hour

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to support our team as an Examination Invigilator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising pupils during formal external examinations, ensuring the security of examination papers, and maintaining a smooth examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils participating in formal external examinations in accordance with Examination Board regulations
  • Collect examination papers and other examination materials from the Examinations Officer
  • Follow instructions provided by the Examinations Officer and Senior Examinations Invigilator for each individual examination
  • Help to seat students and distribute any equipment required
  • Supervise the collection of mobile devices in accordance with JCQ regulations
  • Write necessary information on noticeboards such as start/finish times
  • Distribute examination papers to pupils
  • Read out any relevant instructions to students and start the examination
  • Be responsible for the security of the examination papers and ensure every pupil sits the correct paper
  • Ensure a register is completed and report absentees to the Examinations Officer

Requirements:

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to use initiative and good judgment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
