Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and other mobile equipment to ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Identify and address any issues or defects, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored maintenance solutions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including job documentation and customer communication.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to £34,232 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate, Monday to Saturday, and 2 times the regular rate on Sunday.
