About the Role:

As a key member of the Drax Group team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of technical compliance, engineering governance, asset integrity, and process safety across the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering compliance against legislative, statutory, corporate, and site policy and procedures.

You will work closely with the Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams to provide leadership and guidance on technical compliance and engineering governance. Your role will also involve contract management, including negotiating and tendering contracts, specifying work, conducting risk assessments, and supervising contractor work.

Additionally, you will support the Drax audit plan and lead technical audits to ensure the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Education to degree level in an engineering or technical subject
  • Experience in the power industry or similar
  • Broad health and safety knowledge, including environment, engineering, and process safety
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
