Job Overview: Special Needs Education Professional
TeacherActive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced special needs education professional to join our team. As a member of our team, you will work with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and display challenging behaviour. You will also work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to develop individualised learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs.
About the Role:

This role offers an alternative educational experience to students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education or are awaiting a school place in a suitable SEN school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work with students in their homes delivering and supporting core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
  • To identify areas of improvement required when working on a 1:1 basis.
  • To provide ongoing support and guidance to students, parents, and other professionals as needed.
Requirements:
  • A good standard of education.
  • The ability to work with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and display challenging behaviour.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $35,000 - $40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
