Drama Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our team at a Secondary school in Barnet. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the drama department and delivering engaging lessons to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the drama department and develop a curriculum that meets the needs of students.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that promote student engagement and progress.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff to achieve departmental goals.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Drama Teacher at secondary level.
