About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Brain Injury Support Professional to provide high-quality care and support to an individual in Redditch, Worcestershire. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with brain injuries and cerebral palsy, possess a UK driver's license, and have access to a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with personalized routines inclusive of hoists
  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions

Salary and Benefits:

£15-16 per hour (dependent on experience) + benefits package including opportunities for professional development and training, regular supervisions and check-ins, online and in-person training

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in complex care, preferably with brain injury and cerebral palsy
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work specified hours
