Job Title: Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacovigilance Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in driving innovative client-focused research. You will work closely with leading and emerging pharmaceutical companies to deliver cutting-edge therapeutic testing immunology-based assays.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Experimental Design and Execution: Develop and execute laboratory experiments utilizing the Skimune platform, focusing on assays such as T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.
  2. Protocol Design and Execution: Create and implement protocols for therapeutic testing projects, ensuring a seamless workflow from project initiation through to final report delivery.
  3. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex data sets, including tissue culture results, mRNA expression levels, and cytokine profiles, employing advanced software tools (e.g., ImageJ, Python, QuPath, R, Graphpad Prism).
  4. Tissue Handling and Assays: Perform tissue sectioning, embedding, and assay development, including immunohistochemistry and cytokine analysis as needed.
  5. Scientific Reporting: Compile comprehensive reports, manuscripts, and presentations; present findings to clients and at scientific forums.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Uphold ISO quality standards, maintain meticulous records, and assist in drafting and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  7. Business Development: Identify emerging research opportunities, assist with grant proposals, and support external partnerships to advance business objectives.
Requirements:
  1. Advanced Degree: Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  2. Substantial Experience: Substantial experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment, particularly in projects involving advanced therapeutics.
  3. Advanced Techniques: Skilled in immunohistochemistry, tissue processing, and image analysis using software such as ImageJ and QuPath.
  4. Programming Knowledge: Competence in Python or R for data analysis is highly desirable.

  1. Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen focus on precision and quality.
  2. Quality Assurance: Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience implementing quality control procedures.
