The Role

ABL 1Touch is a leading provider of automotive services, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced MET Technician to join our team.

The MET Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the repair of motor vehicles is carried out to industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring repairs are carried out in an efficient, safe, and economical manner.
  • Employing knowledge and skills to restore vehicles to an industry-recognised acceptable standard.
  • Observing, recognising, and reporting on vehicle structure and paintwork.
  • Ensuring vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers.
  • Removing and safely storing vehicle components, fluids, and gases as directed by work order.
  • Re-assembling vehicles after repair in a safe and competent manner.
  • Performing quality control checks and final stage sign-off.
  • Reporting all faults and defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair methods and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
