Deputy Team Manager Position

Job Summary:
This Deputy Team Manager position will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations of the team, working closely with the Team Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the team's workload, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively
- Deputise for the Team Manager, providing a social work service of assessment, care planning, child protection, and key working
- Develop and maintain effective systems for prioritizing, allocating, and monitoring workloads
- Liaise with partner agency representatives to promote multi-agency working on plans for children and their families
- Ensure the team meets its performance targets and KPIs
- Maintain high standards of social work practice through quality assurance and audits
- Support and develop staff to deliver excellent standards of social work practice
Requirements:
- Experience within adult social work, preferably in a similar management role
- Continual professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
