Project Development Manager

At Leap29, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Manager to lead our project teams in delivering complex projects within the Oil and Gas Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate project teams, including project engineering managers, project engineers, engineering disciplines, project services, and third-party contractors.
  • Ensure project delivery within budget, plan, and to agreed corporate and client HSSE and Quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including Feasibility, Conceptual Design, Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design projects.
  • Lead project teams through decision gates and approvals, ensuring effective implementation of HSSE and QA/QC procedures.
  • Establish and resource project requirements, including staffing, office facilities, IT infrastructure, and IM strategy.
  • Regularly review project progress and demobilisation plans to minimise cost and overheads.
  • Approve Project Execution Plans (PEPs) and subsidiary coordination procedures.
  • Provide leadership for technical reviews, including HAZOP, HAZID, value engineering, design integrity, and 3D Model reviews.
  • Oversee project budget and contract coordination, ensuring successful initiation, execution, and close-out of projects.
  • Manage project personnel to ensure effective progress monitoring and control of project budget.
  • Administer change management processes and implement corrective actions as variations from plans occur.
  • Make management, commercial, and technical decisions relating to the project, consulting with the Project Sponsor or Project Director as necessary.
