Position: Upholsterer

Compensation:
£16.50 per hour

Work Schedule:
8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented Upholsterer to enhance our production of furniture upholstery. The successful candidate will possess expertise in working with a variety of textiles and materials to create exceptional upholstered products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct furniture upholstery in accordance with detailed specifications
  • Repair and substitute damaged or worn upholstery
  • Employ hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and fitting materials
  • Execute heavy lifting tasks while relocating furniture items
  • Apply mechanical skills to diagnose and resolve upholstery challenges
  • Keep a tidy and well-organized workspace within the production area

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Upholsterer or in a comparable position
  • Skilled in handling various fabrics
  • Capability to lift substantial objects and engage in physical activities
  • Proficient in the effective use of hand tools and power tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
