Procurement Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Technical Prospects Ltd. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing suppliers, ensuring best quality, services, and commercial terms are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase products and services to meet the company's needs.
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure continuity of supply of all necessary raw materials and consumables in line with the broader sales and production forecasts.
  • Tender generation and evaluation through to contract, ensuring best practices are adhered to and best possible commercial terms achieved.
  • Maintain supplier on-boarding and performance assessment procedures and ISO 9001 standards ensuring continuous improvements to service levels and commercial terms for the business.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support with departmental needs; including product sourcing, pricing, technical data, bid support, and new product development.
  • Produce and analyze reports and forecasts as required.
  • Solve problems with orders or invoices in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Support all team members with shared learning to promote continuous improvement within the team.
Additional Duties
  • Provide outstanding products and an effortless customer experience.
  • Deliver tasks with a focus on quality and quantity.
  • Manage, organize, and update relevant data/records as required.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change or development.
  • Working with customers/colleagues to identify problems and advise on the solution while managing expectations of stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent, site-based position in Harrogate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing suppliers, ensuring best quality, services, and commercial terms are achieved. The position offers a basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000 plus great benefits.
