The Siva Group is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging solutions, renowned for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Quality Assistant to join our team in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage non-conformances, including customer complaints, communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Oversee customer returns, ensuring efficient logistics and crediting processes.
  • Perform quality control tests for specific customer references and trials.
  • Assist in managing quarantined material, investigating and communicating with internal teams.
  • Support the investigation of non-conforming material back to the original supplier.
  • Participate in resin, masterbatch, tape, ink, and other trials, collecting data and insights.
  • Manage raw material databases, including MFI's and densities.
  • Produce raw material and specification-specific data sheets.
  • Generate certificate of analysis reports for customers.
  • Support the anilox refurbishment program.
  • Adhere to company procedures and data protection policies.
  • Perform other reasonable instructions as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a technical or quality assurance role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while being self-motivated.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues.
