Global Resource Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Resource Strategist to join our team at Totum Partners. As a Senior Legal Resource Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the global integration of our resource management function.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a senior work allocation/resource management role and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage fee-earner work allocation for designated practice groups, ensuring effective resourcing for client and non-chargeable work.
  • Build strong business relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to partners and associates.
  • Lead the RM team for a global practice group.
  • Oversee global utilisation and ensure optimal productivity and profitability.
  • Identify and drive forward areas for improvement and work allocation change initiatives.
  • Analyse fee-earning utilisation data and provide recommendations to resolve resourcing issues.
  • Act as an escalation point for resourcing conflicts and issues.
  • Support fee-earner new joiners, movers, leavers, and secondments.
  • Facilitate and support Trainee seat and supervisor allocations.
  • Oversee ad hoc recruitment of FTC lawyers and support junior team members.
Salary:

£80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
