About the RoleAs a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for leading and managing your care team, ensuring high-quality care and service is provided to all residents. You will work closely with our dedicated Quality Matters team to deliver exceptional care and support, and will be expected to engage with residents in conversation, respecting their dignity and communication differences.
You will also be responsible for administering and recording medication as prescribed, and will work to ensure that each resident's dignity and independence is preserved and promoted. Your role will involve encouraging residents to participate in discussions relating to their daily living arrangements, and assisting with personal care as needed.
What We're Looking ForWe are seeking an individual with a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is essential, although prior leadership or supervisory experience is not necessary as full training and mentoring is provided.
Our residents live with a range of age-related conditions, life-limiting health conditions, and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents' individual abilities.
