Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete compliance process, ensuring work meets expected standards and minimizing risk.
  • Review and communicate points back to the team, and sign out completed tax returns as agreed with senior staff.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing a high standard of service and excellent communication skills.
  • Manage complex advisory projects involving trust and estate matters, and be responsible for the delivery of such projects.
  • Line manage junior staff, delegating work and training them in technical and soft skills.

You will be working closely with our team to build a new US tax practice in a Big 4 firm, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and constructively at various levels.

Requirements
  • EA and ATT qualified.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen and insightful appreciation of the issues facing clients and the ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a US/UK tax role, currently an experienced Assistant Manager or a new/experienced Manager.
  • Experience of reviewing and signing out US tax returns and dealing with client tax requirements.
