The Oval Partnership is seeking a Commercial and Procurement Financial Analyst to join their team and provide commercial and procurement financial input and insight into their commercial and procurement teams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the business to drive performance and deliver key projects, including providing commercial and procurement finance input and insight into tender processes, service provision models, new business opportunities, price modelling, inflation recovery, and other commercial/procurement appraisals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Reporting: Provide informative management information with commentary and insight to challenge performance and drive action to support the business in achieving its goals.
  • Business Partnering: Work closely with the commercial and procurement teams to provide commercial and procurement finance input and insight into tender processes, service provision models, new business opportunities, price modelling, inflation recovery, and other commercial/procurement appraisals.
  • Ad Hoc and Project Work: Generate ad hoc information to support the analysis of business performance and be involved in providing financial support on project work.
  • Budgets and Forecasts: Coordinate the generation of commercial, purchasing, and operational elements of budgets and forecasts and review outputs with key stakeholders to ensure the numbers are realistic and deliverable.
Requirements
  • Qualifications / Education: ACCA/CIMA part qualified or QBE required.
  • Skills: Experience within FMCG environment desirable, positive attitude, ability to work well in a team, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
