No matter where your passion in veterinary medicine lies, the IVC Evidensia Graduate Academy programme offers a comprehensive and tailored learning experience to support you in achieving your potential. As a recent or soon-to-be veterinary graduate looking to embark on a successful and fulfilling career in veterinary medicine, this opportunity is designed to help you unlock your potential and achieve veterinary excellence.

Discover practical and online CPD development opportunities that cater to your interests and career goals. Feel empowered with mentor and well-being support, alongside a host of benefits and rewards that make this role truly exceptional. Enjoy a competitive salary starting from £34,000 per year, along with 6 weeks of holiday time per year.

Unlock your passions at Delaware Veterinary Group, which has two great practices in Somerset, overseen by the same leadership team. Castle Cary is well placed for access to the coast and has good road and rail links to London, Bath and Exeter and beyond.

You will work alongside seven other small animal Vets, supported by a six-strong nursing team and seven non-clinical support team members who value teamwork, sharing information, and helping each other. Within our team, we have a certificate holder in Small Animal Medicine, working closely with clients and their pets to deliver high-quality veterinary care on an individual patient basis.

We have facilities and equipment to support this, including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house laboratory services. Our standard working hours are 40 hours per week, divided over five weekdays and one Saturday morning every three weeks. We facilitate a fixed half-day off every week, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

In addition to your competitive salary, you will enjoy private medical insurance, employee assistance programmes, and initiatives focused on colleague wellbeing. You can also take advantage of discounted treatment for your own pets at an IVC Evidensia practice, Cycle to Work scheme, and Green Cars scheme subject to eligibility criteria.

We are committed to Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Belonging, as a Disability Confident Employer. We welcome candidates with disabilities and long-term health conditions and would be happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments needed during the recruitment process.
