Vibro Ground Improvement Specialists LTD is seeking a dynamic Procurement Expert to play a pivotal role in optimizing our procurement processes and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of materials and services essential for our ground improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance, and address any issues or concerns proactively.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify procurement needs and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Streamline procurement processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyse market trends, monitor industry developments, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports, budgets, and forecasts related to procurement activities.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite.
